OAaSIS team blooms in cool Sargeantville countryside


The OAaSIS International foundation team went to the cool country of Saint Catherine for their second in the creative workshop series, for empowering youth across Jamaica. For a one-day workshop, this second visit was at the Sargeantville Methodist Church on Sunday March 28, 2010, and involved adult participation.
The poceedings, although delayed by the weather, along with the team were greeted by a small, but extremely receptive audience from the Sargeantville and Edward Piece community by the tributary of the Rio Cobre. This number grew incrementally as the proceedings got under way.

The workshop opened with the National Anthem led by Kristen Brown, who was followed by the Sargeantville representatives explaining on the Foundation’s visit. The main opening remarks were given by Brother Allan Bucknol, and the day
